Today, 29/06/2025 AD. A mobile court was conducted against the use of hydraulic horns banned to control noise pollution and vehicles producing noise exceeding the permitted level on the Lalmonirhat to Rangpur highway in Sadar Upazila of Lalmonirhat district. 6 vehicles were fined 3500/- (three thousand five hundred) taka in 6 cases for using banned hydraulic horns and producing noise exceeding the permitted level and 11 hydraulic horns were seized and destroyed. The mobile court was conducted by the Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate of Lalmonirhat District Administration, Mr. Mohammad Mostaq Ahmed Kapot, Mr. Shahriar Tanvir Ahmed and Mr. Md. Sajjad Hossain. The prosecution in the said mobile court was provided by the Inspector of the Department of Environment, Lalmonirhat District Office, Mr. Md. Golam Asif Rahman. Assistant Director of the Department of Environment, Lalmonirhat District Office, Bijan Kumar Roy was present at the time. Police members assisted in conducting the operation and maintaining law and order. The list of vehicles is as follows:
