On the occasion of the celebration of “International Noise Awareness Day-2025”, as part of the “Integrated and Partnership Project for Noise Pollution Control” implemented by the Department of Environment, a mobile court was conducted on the Lalmonirhat to Rangpur highway in Sadar Upazila of Lalmonirhat district on 30.04.2025 AD as part of the operation of mobile courts simultaneously throughout the country. For using prohibited hydraulic horns and producing noise exceeding the permitted level, 6 transports were fined 3000/- in 6 cases and 2 organizations were fined 5000 taka, totaling 10 thousand taka, a total of 13,000 (thirteen thousand) taka in cash was collected and 12 (twelve) hydraulic horns were seized. The mobile court was conducted by Mr. Mir Faisal Ali and Mr. Rawjatun Jannat, Senior Assistant Secretary and learned Executive Magistrate of Lalmonirhat District Administration, Government Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, Mr. Shahriar Tanvir Ahmed and Mr. Mostaq Ahmed Kapot. The prosecution in the said mobile court was given by Mr. Md. Golam Asif Rahman, Inspector of the Department of Environment, Lalmonirhat District. Bijon Kumar Roy, Assistant Director of the Department of Environment, Lalmonirhat, was present at the time and members of the police were responsible for law and order.
