Last (20/01/2025 AD) a mobile court was conducted against 04 brick kilns located in Aditmari under a joint initiative of the Upazila Administration, Aditmari and the Department of Environment, Lalmonirhat for violating the Brick Manufacturing and Kiln Establishment (Control) Act, 2013 (Amended 2019). At that time, for the crime of manufacturing bricks in violation of the provisions of the said law, 04 (four) brick kilns located in Aditmari were fined 2,00,000/-(two lakh) taka respectively to M/s LN Bricks, 1,00,000/-(one lakh) taka to M/s Sun-2, 20,000/-(twenty thousand) taka to M/s JR, and 2,00,000/-(two lakh) taka to One Star Bricks, i.e. a total of 04 (four) brick kilns were fined 5,20,000/-(five lakh twenty thousand) taka. The judicial duties in the mobile court were performed by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Mr. Md. Rawjatun Jannat and the prosecution was provided by Inspector of the District Environment Department Md. Golam Asif Rahman. At this time, a group of members of the Aditmari Police Division and Fire Service, Aditmari assisted in conducting the operation. It was informed that such operations against illegal brick kilns will continue to protect the environment and control air pollution.
